After taking streetdancing classes during the filming of Passions of Girls Aloud series, Cheryl Tweedy Cole was picked to appear in the music video for will.i.am's single "Heartbreaker". She was later asked to sing additional vocals on the track. The song was released in the UK on 5 May 2008, but had already entered the top ten on download sales, peaking at number 4 in the UK Singles Chart.

Charlize Theron is the first African to win an Oscar for Best Actress. The Oscar win pushed her to The Hollywood Reporter's 2006 list of highest-paid actresses in Hollywood; earning $10,000,000 for both her subsequent films, North Country and Æon Flux, Charlize Theron ranked seventh, behind Halle Berry, Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, Renée Zellweger, Reese Witherspoon, and Nicole Kidman.

Charisma Carpenter
In 1997, Charisma Carpenter auditioned for the title role in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer but instead was cast as Cordelia Chase, a snobby and popular high school student. After three seasons on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Charisma Carpenter was offered an even larger role as the same character on the spin-off series Angel along with David Boreanaz. Charisma Carpenter played Cordelia Chase for three seasons on Buffy from 1997 to 1999 and four seasons on Angel from 1999 to 2003. Although her character leaves the series during Angel's fourth season, Charisma Carpenter returned for the 100th episode in the fifth and final season because she felt that Cordelia's fans deserved closure after the controversy of her unexplained removal from the show.
Celine Dion
In 2004, after surpassing 175 million in album sales worldwide, Celine Dion was presented with the Chopard Diamond Award at the World Music Awards for becoming the best selling female artist of all time.

Catherine Zeta Jones
Catherine Zeta Jones attended Dumbarton House School in Swansea. Catherine Zeta Jones left school early to further her acting ambitions without obtaining O levels and went on to attend The Arts Educational Schools in Chiswick, west London, for a full-time three-year course in musical theatre.
